Refund and Returns Policy

At Heritage Trading, we are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction with our designed and salvaged goods. Our Refund and Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which products can be returned or exchanged. Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

General Conditions

All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.

Items must be in the same condition as when sold, with all original tags and labels attached, if any.

We reserve the right to deny a return or exchange if the item does not meet our return criteria.

Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

Goods: Can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase.

Change of mind: A change of mind is not accepted for our returns and refunds policy.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please get in touch with us immediately or within 7 days of receiving the item. We will arrange for a return, exchange, or refund at no additional cost to you.

Return Process

Contact Us: To initiate a return, email our customer service at shop@heritagetrading.co.nz or phone (07) 8274211. Please provide your order number, item details, and reason for return.

Return Authorisation: You will receive instructions on how to return the item.

Shipping: Pack the item securely in its original packaging (if available) and include all paperwork, parts, and accessories. Mark your details on the outside of the package.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Inspection and Processing: Once we receive the item, we will inspect it and notify you whether your return has been approved or rejected.

Approved returns will be processed within 7-10 business days.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method. If the original payment method is unavailable, store credit will be provided.

Exchanges

Items eligible for exchange must be of equal or lesser value.

To exchange an item, follow the return process. Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will send the replacement item.

Store Credit

Store credit is valid for one year from the date of issuance.

Store credit cannot be redeemed for cash.

Refund Exclusions

Items we are unable to refund or exchange include:

1. Products that have been specially ordered.
2. Gift vouchers or store credits.
3. Items that are missing their original packaging or labelling or have been opened or used and are therefore unable to be resold.
